Helping Buyers & Sellers Navigate
High Country Real Estate
Born here. I know these mountains.
My roots in the High Country go back to day one. Whether you're searching for a weekend cabin, an investment property, or your forever mountain home — I'll help you find it.
Thinking about selling in Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, or Ashe County? Let's talk strategy.
About Your Agent
Born here and kept my roots firmly planted for good.
I'm Andrew Plyler — born in Boone, App State class of 2002, and in 2020 I planted my roots in the High Country for good. After nearly two decades running summer camps across the Southeast, a pandemic made me stop, look around at these mountains, and decide I was never leaving again. I brought that same care-for-people approach into real estate. I know the back roads, the best trout streams, which ridgelines catch the sunset, and which neighborhoods actually make sense for your goals.
Whether you want a second home in Blowing Rock, an Airbnb investment in Banner Elk, raw land in Ashe County, or you're relocating from Charlotte or Atlanta — I'll walk you through every step with honest, straightforward guidance.

What Clients Say
Real results, real people.
My wife and I had been trying to sell our lot for a few years. When we spoke with Andrew, he did a thorough review of our lot. It sold in less than one month. We trusted him from day one and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Not only did Andrew become our realtor, he also became our concierge — connecting us with local government, legal representation, contractors, and the best places to eat. Most importantly, he became our friend.
Not only did Andrew know the area, he had actually walked the property we decided to buy. The negotiation was complex — two separate sellers to combine the total land needed — and he navigated it perfectly.

Should you buy instead of paying four years of rent?
Many families find that buying a home near App State or Lees-McRae — and renting extra bedrooms to classmates — makes more financial sense than renting for four years. As a Boone native and App State alum, I help families run the honest numbers before they decide.
